During or large project, GSI was great to work with. We were in direct contact with the owner and he let us direct the project however we wanted. When there were hickups (as expected in all large projects), GSI took responsibility and fixed the issue.

Just when I thought that I would not find a great roof contractor, GSI General Inc was referred by my insurance company. GSI was generous to honor the estimate given by my insurer and because roof replacement is very expensive I appreciate that. It was amazing that the work on a 2600+ sqft home was completed within 2 days. GSI staff is hard working and efficient. Not only was the roof completed by the estimated completion date, they left no mess whatsoever. Although, i had some trouble with getting my insurance checks on time, GSI stuck with me through the process which lessened my stress levels. Great working with them.

We had a lot of damage after a house fire and needed help. We were very fortunate to receive that help from GSI and Benjamin Clark (the owner). We were in contact with Mr. Clark on a constant basis and were guided along the whole process with a line-by-line quote so we could understand what was being done at our house. His efforts, expertise, and his commitment to us and our project meant so much to me and my family. The whole GSI team did their thing, and the house looks more beautiful than ever. For helping us get back into our house after such a horrible ordeal, and for all the work that GSI put in for us during the restoration project, we are extremely thankful.

GSI General went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. My family had a fire in our home in December 2022 that resulted in a lot of smoke damage. GSI gutted the 1st floor and updated electrical, plumbing, and heating. Owner, Benjamin Clark, and his crew catered to my home’s pre-existing problems to ensure continuity between the old and new. They got us safely back into our home. We love the new open concept design and how diligently our claim was handled with the insurance company.

All of my decisions were considered in picking out colors, flooring, tiles, and more. GSI General gave my family first-class service from day one. We have our newly restored home back and better than before the fire.

Benjamin was extremely communicative and transparent throughout the entire project. When I called and explained the repair we needed to be completed, he was quick to come out to provide a thorough and accurate estimate. He worked directly to submit the quote to our insurance and was flexible at the start of the holidays. The project was down exactly to our liking and he was able to quickly provide solutions when we had unforeseen issues come up. He made sure to continue to check in with us and communicate project updates throughout the entire time. I will happily reach out to him again for any future projects or repairs!

This was a great experience working with this company. I had some last-minute things happening and needed state approval. He listened to my issues and put me in his schedule immediately. Wow, these guys do fantastic work! My wife and I were mid-remodel on a newly purchased property. We were working with another general contractor at first but were unhappy with the timeline and the uncertainty of the budget. We contacted GSI and started work with them immediately.

Things that I really liked about working with Benjamin and GSI:
– Very detailed scope of work. Benjamin sat down with me and went through one line item at a time, making sure that I felt comfortable with the quote and the work that was being done. I really appreciated the level of detail and the fact that he cared enough to walk through it with me, instead of just sending it via email or another method.

– Responsive. Communication was key for me while we were going through this. I needed to know who was going to be at the house, when they were getting there, and what work they were going to compete. Benjamin was great about doing this, and would answer the phone anytime I called with a question.

– Craftsmanship. The carpenters, electricians, painters, etc all did a fantastic job. The work looks incredible, and I can’t believe they were able to get it done as fast as they did!

Overall, the job was done on time, and on budget. If anything, they actually did more work than what was originally quoted for me. We recommend them to anyone going through a home renovation project, big or small, and will definitely use them again for future home improvements!
